The focus of the work is to introduce the reader to empirical psychological findings related to video games that are used by developers in the creation of games. The entire book is written in a pop-psychological style that fits the topic very well. Psychologists, among others, will appreciate the insights into the use of theories and research in game development and the effects of games on the psyche.
