This book summarizes findings from the longitudinal project conducted at the Institute for Research on Children, Youth and Family at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University. This research center focuses on investigating factors, which could potentially influence the mental development of people. The book’s title refers to the topic explored by authors here – social relationships, which greatly influence the development of a personality of an adolescent. The book is clearly structured into 6 chapters, each chapter contains also a final summary on the topic.
