Last year (2012), the publishing house Dybbuk published an extensive study by Oliver Sacks entitled „Migraine“. The author, a renowned popularizer of Neurosciences, pursues the migraine phenomenon from historic to latest findings. The translation is from the 1992 edition, amended with recent developments due to advanced technology in brain research. Furthermore, researching migraine genesis, Sacks elaborates on the new scientific paradigm – the theory of Chaos and Prigogine's concept of self-organization. And I have to admit that I found this interpretation of migraine genesis very interesting.
